INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISARMING WITH THE EMERGENCY CODE
On the card you will find the emergency code. Enter it if you have forgotten the PIN code (or in the case of the ID key fob) you have no way of disarming the immobiliser with the ID key fob or the app. To enter the emergency PIN code:
- Switch on the ignition. Within 10 seconds, you must start entering the emergency code.
- Press the brake pedal and, keeping it depressed, press the accelerator pedal the appropriate umber of times for the first digit.
- After entering the first digit, release the brake and press it again, enter the next digit – repeat this operation for each digit of the emergency code.
- Once all 6 digits of the emergency code have been entered correctly, the confirmation light will flash 3 times to indicate that the alarm system has entered factory mode, which means:
The system will not protect the car until a new PIN code is set (according to the procedure described in the user manual) or the immobiliser is authorised with an ID key fob or telephone (in case the immobiliser has an ID key fob).
Warning!
- Disarming the immobiliser with the emergency PIN code does not work on cars where the immobiliser blocks the ignition – contact an installer.
- In order to unlock the car with the emergency code, the immobiliser must be armed.
- The emergency code can be used several times.
